sAIve ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a Chrome extension that exports ChatGPT conversations to PDF and Markdown. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored using Chrome's built-in storage APIs and never sent to our servers:

Data Processed Locally (Never Transmitted)
When you export a conversation, the extension:
- Reads the conversation content from the ChatGPT page
- Converts images to base64 format
- Generates PDF or Markdown files
This data is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers or any third party.
Data Sent to Our Servers (Pro Subscribers Only)
If you sign in for a Pro subscription, we collect:

We use Supabase for authentication. When you sign in with Google, your email and user ID are stored in our Supabase database solely to manage your subscription.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you upgrade to Pro:
- You are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout page
- We never see or store your payment card details
- Stripe notifies us only that payment succeeded
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Conversation content
- Exported file contents
- Browsing history
- Analytics or telemetry
- IP addresses
- Device information
- Usage patterns

Your Rights
You can:
- Delete local data: Uninstall the extension or clear Chrome storage

Data Retention
- Local data: Stored until you uninstall the extension
- Account data: Retained while you have an active subscription; deleted upon request
Children's Privacy
sAIve is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via the extension or our website.
